(from my original review)This book was everything that I was promised it would be: happy, funny, quirky and totally swoon-worthy. Anna has a great voice in this story, and the author had me hooked within the first paragraph. I can't remember a time I've laughed so much while reading a book. The author made an accurate portrayal of what teenage life is, and what high school was like (even if that high school is a frou-frou, hoity-toity school set in Paris). And can we talk for a minute about St. Clair? Holy mother effin SWOON, man. Alright, I'll admit it: I pretended he was taller in my mind, but otherwise he was pretty much perfect.I just wish we could see some more of these two. I wouldn't be opposed to a, oh, I don't know...weekend in San Fran? Yes/Yes? But, I respectfully request the YA label be pulled from that production (ifyaknowwhati'msayingandithinkyoudo).
