3.5 I enjoyed this one more than the previous two, and was happy to notice that the non-consensual sex didn't continue to be a theme.However, I'm just not clicking with these books as I had hoped I would. While I enjoyed both the hero and heroine in this story, I'm not head over heels for the world in which this series is set. I find it hard to reconciled two thousand year old Valkaries talking like 16 year old mallrats. Most of the time, it seemed excessive and forced.At this time, I'm going to step away from the series. That's not to say I'll never pick it up again, but I'm just not interested enough in them to continue reading.
